Details: Manufacturing EngineerThe Manufacturing Engineer (ME) will do the following: Work cross-functionally to support the manufacturing methods of Assumption product lines with respect to the key indicators of Safety, Quality, Delivery and Cost. Monitor and analyze key process indicators to determine areas for improvement.  Facilitate the design, specification, and implementation of machinery and processes which will enhance manufacturability, efficiency, process control, and metrics tracking. Other duties include working cross-functionally with Product Engineering and Quality Engineering on New Product Development efforts to ensure that new products or components meet IPPAP requirements, are able to be produced to engineering specifications, and that processes are safe, efficient, capable, and reliable.  The Manufacturing Engineer will coordinate and oversee the training of all operations “trainers" so that knowledge and understanding of prescribed methods and procedures are disseminated throughout each Assumption work center.  Provide troubleshooting and diagnostic assistance to operations and/or maintenance personnel as needed.
