Provide clinical case management and maintain case documentation in accordance with the terms and conditions defined under the National Guard Bureau agreement. Document all activities and present that data in a fashion that emphasizes the value of the service, including information on the outcome of consultation and follow-up. Consult with National Guard Bureau staff to prepare needs analysis initiatives, program design/customizations, and effective measurements of psychological health services to solidify value. Prepare for and present National Guard Bureau orientations, supervisor/commander trainings/consultation services, briefings and health and wellness trainings at National Guard Bureau sites. Develop and maintain positive relationships at multiple levels within the National Guard Bureau Service Team, providing clinical services and/or case management for clinical cases. Work exclusively on the NGB PH Program a minimum of forty (40) hours per week during normal business hours at an office approved by the Project Officer. Some in-site travel should be expected. Must be available after hours and/or weekends as needed Return telephone calls initiated by the Project Officer or his/her designee within 1 (one) hour of receiving either the call or notification of the call, and be available for emergencies. Qualifications Master’s and/or Doctorate degree in a clinical or mental health-related field required. Current state license or state certification to practice as a mental health practitioner (e.g. social worker, clinical psychologist, marriage and family counselor, and professional counselor) in the state(s) where practice takes place at the independent level. A minimum of five years post master’s of clinical or mental health care experience with general knowledge and understanding of community resources. Military experience, spouse of or family member or military member and knowledge of labor relations, military operations, and the military health care system Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced, high-change environment independently as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills. A minimum of 3 years training delivery experience. Able and willing to align behaviors to meet the needs of working in 24 x 7 x 365 work setting. Basic skills in the use of computerized applications are expected at minimum International Critical Incident Stress Foundation training certification is preferred. An understanding of behavioral health services at various service levels desirable. Demonstrated expertise in the use of various Windows programs, as well as familiarity with case management systems is preferred. Demonstrated customer service skills and the ability to quickly adapt to their service needs. Fluent in a variety of languages preferred.
